CELEBRATIONS

Mark Higgins did a feature story on these three. Here is the link.

Again, HUGE SHOUT out to MIKE BERTRAM!

**Mike and Stephanie do an excellent job with our CTE programs and clubs! Students are able to discover their passion and thrive in both their classes and clubs.

Greek unit in Charlie's 6th grade SST classes!!

Congratulations to former Trooper and daughter of Bryan and Jami-Macy Eggart! She is signing her letter of intent to run cross country and do track at the College of Idaho!!! Whoop! Whoop!!!

NUTS-n-BOLTS

1.  We've had several guest teachers in the building, and I'm happy to report fewer referrals. Reviewing your expectations has made a real difference! The routines, expectations, and management you set up before a guest teacher arrives truly pay off. Great job!

2.  FYI about a program that our District partners with BMAC.

Backpack Bridge Program

What is it?
The Backpack Bridge program, by Blue Mountain Action Council (BMAC), provides weekend meals to students in need.

Why help is needed?
The number of students relying on school food programs has increased, depleting BMAC’s supplies. Your donations directly support students who need it most.

How can you help?
Consider a financial donation to help BMAC purchase bulk supplies. Every contribution counts in ensuring no child goes hungry. Thank you!

2. The consistency with the voice amp system has definitely improved, and I appreciate everyone’s efforts. Just a reminder—this isn’t optional, as it’s crucial for helping students understand what the teacher is saying and for safety. If there’s ever imminent danger in the classroom, please use the safety button on the side. When that silent alarm goes off, we hear it in the office and drop everything to head your way right away.

3. Course Roll-Up is due tomorrow, 3/14/25! This spreadsheet is CRITICAL. We upload the data into Skyward, and it helps us determine how many course sections we’ll need for the 2025-2026 school year. The master schedule is built based on this information, so please ensure it’s accurate and complete.

4.  You know what next week is? YES-SPIRIT WEEK!!!

Monday-St. Patrick's Day
Tuesday- Twin Day, ROTC will also be guests in PE classes
Wednesday - Crocs, socks and Birkenstocks
Thursday-Adam Sandler Day (remember-ASB picks the days 😆)
Friday -March Madness-Team Jerseys, colors, etc.

5.  The custodians have noticed that the doors at the end of the 7th and 8th grade hallway have been unlocked. We are not sure how or why. Re keying the building is not an option, we asked. Please just double check the doors if you happen to be unlocking them.  THANK YOU!!

6. Installed in the office bathroom is a bidet toilet.  It has been installed for some of our students in the RISE program. It is a nice and the seat is HEATED! :D

Something to Ponder

Dr. Joe Sanfelippo, one of my favorite educational leaders, served as the superintendent of Fall Creek School District in Wisconsin. His "one-minute walks to work" involved him walking from his home to the school, offering reflections and challenges for leaders. The key takeaway: when Dr. Joe talks about leaders, he’s speaking to everyone, not just those with a title. We are all leaders in our own way. And of course, he always ends with, "We're all in this together! Go Crickets!" Sound familiar? 😉

Take Dr. Joe's advice Look Up and chase those smiles!

I KNOW you'll find a gold nugget in this week's Something to Ponder.
